Hear A Talk Shamanism

Richard Elkington is hosting an introductory evening about Shamanism Today with Judith Clough in the Moroccan Room at the Drawingroom HP5 1DG on Tuesday 14 August 2012 at 7.30pm. Shamanism is a healing and spiritual practice that goes back thousands of years. It is still practised today amongst the native Indians of North and South America, in Tibet, Asia and Eastern Europe, by the Aboriginal peoples of Australia and by hundreds and thousands of tribal and indigenous peoples throughout the world. Judith practices and teaches what could be called contemporary shamanism, bringing back traditional practices that put you in touch with the cycles and rhythms of Nature, together with the healing and power that can be found by connecting with the Earth, her plants and creatures. Shamanic wisdom is held within our roots; it is available for our own power and healing, but we have forgotten how to access it. We can make that reconnection through Shamanic journeying. Judith facilitates this process, opening you up to exciting re-discovery of yourself through Shamanic journeying and guidance in the ways of the Shaman. Richard said, ‘Come and discover more at a fascinating evening we have planned at the Drawingroom. There are only 10 tickets costing £25 which includes a drink (of your choice) and some nibbles.’
