The Market Hall in Old Amersham is the place to see the Amersham Town Council’s 33rd Festival of Art from Saturday 4 to Sunday 12 August 2012. Opening hours are from 10.30am to 6pm daily (5pm on Sunday 12 August). In August of each year the Festival of Art sponsored by Amersham Town Council with the assistance of art groups, is displayed in the Market Hall, Old Amersham. This annual event enables the artists, both amateur and professional, to display and offer their work for sale. The wealth of artistic talent on our doorstep in the Chilterns ensures a high standard of exhibits which the Town Council appreciates. * A small commission on each sale, along with visitors’ donations and exhibit entry fees, provides income which is distributed in Autumn by way of grants to charitable organisations.
