The annual summer workshop at Chesham’s Elgiva this year titled Musical Mayhem, will take place from Monday 30 July and run until Friday 3 August 2012. Each day, between 10am and 4pm the children will learn and experience a number of disciplines including theatre, drama, singing, and dancing skills. Anyone aged between eight and 18 can attend and rehearse in the safe surroundings of the Elgiva Theatre overseen by a professional choreographer and musical director, Irene Moss and Lee Bright, both West End performers.
The week will end with a performance on the Friday night showcasing musicals through the decades, from Hair to Oliver and Wicked offering the chance for the kids to put into practice what has been learned in front of a live audience.
