Buckinghamshire’s major family history event will take place in 2012 on Saturday 28 July 2012, from 10am to 4pm at the Grange School, Wendover Way, Aylesbury HP21 7NH. It’s Buckinghamshire’s main family history event, and attracts family historians from all over the county and beyond. This free event will have something for everyone – whether beginner or experienced researcher – wherever your ancestors came from. All of the Society’s facilities will be available: their names database, which has in excess of five million entries, includes baptisms, marriages and burials. Let them help you track down those elusive ancestors. The bookstall will carry parish register transcripts and other publications for sale, and lots of free help and advice will be available.
Guest family and local history societies from around the country have been have invited to attend, together with a range of commercial suppliers of maps and books, software, archival materials and services visitors have come to expect.
