Cosy Up With a Cat This Winter

Cats Protection’s Chiltern Branch is desperately appealing for owners to adopt one of the many cats in the charity’s care. Chris Ayers, branch coordinator said, ‘The branch is bursting at the seams with many loving cats and kittens requiring a home. We have found ourselves inundated with unwanted and abandoned felines. At the moment 21 cats are more than this time last year and we are worried that the number will continue to rise unless we find new homes soon. A cat offers love and companionship – they really do make a house a home. I would appeal to anyone who is able to offer a cat a cosy home this winter to contact us immediately; we’d love to hear from you.’

Cats Protection’s Chiltern Branch is part of the charity’s nationwide network of 257 volunteer-run branches and 30 adoption centres that together help 230,000 cats and kittens every year.
