The Beer Festival on Saturday 28 May 2011 will be held at Chesham United Football Club, The Meadow, Amy Lane. This festival has run for many years on the May bank holiday weekend in Chesham Town Hall. Simon Flood of the Amersham & Chesham Lions Club said, “Now it is moving to the new venue and will be open from noon until we run out of beer.” The facilities have been provided free of charge by the Chesham United Supporters’ Trust to help the Lions maximise the amount they are able to raise for good causes this year.
Entrance is free. There will be 16 different beers and three ciders which are bought with tokens costing £1.50 on sale at the door. Food and soft drinks are also available and groups will be playing live music provided by KMD Studios.
