Operation Guillotine

A community safety event is taking place in Chesham on Tuesday 7 September 2010. Caroline Murray, Community Safety Officer, Chiltern District Council said, “We will have a Bucks Fire and Rescue van and a Community Safety Partnership gazebo in Chesham High Street by the M&Co. store between 11am and 3pm”. She doesn’t say which M&Co store, nor the precise time.

Residents will be able to pick up information and advice about keeping their properties and vehicles secure, along with some fire safety advice. There will be representatives from Chiltern District Council, Bucks Fire and Rescue Service and Thames Valley Police. You can sign up for a free home safety check and have free smoke alarms installed in your properties if appropriate, or pick up a timer light switch to use when they go on holiday while stocks last. Call Caroline Murray on 01494 732089, email CMurray2@chiltern.gov.uk.
