Netball
Adults who would like to play netball - whether you are still in practice, or used to play and want to get back into it. Go along every Thursday evening at Chesham Leisure Centre from 6.30pm – 7.45pm. It costs just £1 and no need to book, just turn up.
Hivings Aerobics and Toning class at Pond Park
Every Monday night at Hivings Free Church Hall, Upper Belmont Road from 7 – 8 pm it will cost you £2.50 to take part. It is for all levels of fitness and there is no need to book, just turn up wearing comfortable clothes (no jeans) and bring a drink. At Chesham Leisure Centre you can use the free Nexus Leisure Card and Voucher Booklet. The booklet booklet entitles the holder to six swimming, six group exercise, six gym and six badminton sessions for £2 each. The leisure card entitles you to further discounts when the voucher booklet has been used up. The voucher booklet and leisure card can be sent to you free of charge, contact Tom Davies on 01494 586534 or email tdavies@chiltern.gov.uk.
Stretch and grow
Monday Morning Gentle Exercise Classes start at 10am for an hour at Hivings Free Church, Upper Belmont Road, Pond Park – starting Monday 19 January and costing £1 per session. At 11.30am -12.30pm you can go to Christ Church Hall, Waterside – starting Monday 12 January where the first three weeks are free, but it is only £1 thereafter. Also on Monday 12 January from 1.30pm - 2.30pm at the Douglas McMinn Centre in East Street you can take gentle exercise for £1 with the first three weeks free, just turn up or call Tom Davies for more info, on 01494 586534, or email tdavies@chiltern.gov.uk.
Walking
You can walk from Cameron House in Cameron Road, Newtown for people with learning difficulties at different times or/and days every week.
Or just for females
Tom can also let you have an information leaflet for all ladies-only activities in and around Chesham call 01494 586534, or email tdavies@chiltern.gov.uk for a copy.
