Three Men in Scarlet brighten up Chesham

Standards from Buckinghamshire were paraded in Lowndes Park recently to commemorate the anniversary of the Falklands War and celebrate Veterans Day with a short service. Three Chelsea Pensioners joined in and afterwards Bob Parrin, Royal British Legion Branch Chairman, took them down the town. People were stopping them to talk, and children were attracted and drawn to them.
Brian Shrieve, chairman of the Royal British Legion Club said, “Thanks to the people of Chesham for their interest and attendance. Thanks also to the Boy's Brigade and Caffe Nero for hospitality to the Chelsea Pensioners.” To learn more about the Chelsea Pensioners visit http://www.chelsea-pensioners.co.uk/index.asp
