Summer break

The Chesham Older Persons Action Group COPAG, is taking a break over the summer and will be back with its monthly meetings in September. In the meantime Eileen King and Lillian Tansley urge everyone to join the Friends of Lowndes Park, see http://www.chilternvoice.co.uk/2007/05/new-friends-of-lowndes-park.html. The Pond Park Over 30s group has joined as Associate Members, and are welcome at the monthly Friday meetings in the Town Hall. They reciprocate at Hivings Park Free Church, Upper Belmont Road. In their latest Chronicle, I am fascinated by Rodney Kumar’s aerial photo of Webb & Jarrett brush factory in Townsend Road, probably taken in 1975.
