Football tournament at Marston Field

The newest Pond Park Community Association innovation was a resounding success on a sunny Saturday and the organizers can pat themselves on the back. The teams were eager and standards high. Under 18s winners of the Yerrell Flooring cup were Chesham United and runners up Pond Park Boys. The shield for Under 13s was won by Pond Park Rangers with Chesham North End runners up. Peter Yerrell and Derek Lacey want to thank James Fowler, Teri Floyd of Paradigm and especially James Allen. James Allen of Chesham United Football Club organized all the teams at the last minute because advance booking wasn’t essential. He set up the field and then refereed all the matches.
